Janice Jaffe is Interim Director of the Joseph McKeen Center for the Common Good at Bowdoin College. She runs the Center’s summer fellowships programs, provides support and consultation for community-based research initiatives, and advises student-led community service groups focused on immigrant and refugee communities. Jaffe earned her B.A. in Spanish at Sewanee: The University of the South in TN, her M.A. in Spanish at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and her PhD in Comparative Literature, also from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Prior to coming to the McKeen Center, she was Associate Professor of Spanish at Bowdoin.
